Cast Medallion with Chairman Mao and Lin Biao

An absolutely fantastic piece! Cast in what appears to be brass alloy (there is a slight magnetic attraction), this clearly shows Chairman Mao sitting with Lin Biao at 9th Party Congress in 1969. The front proclaims, 'Great, Honorable, Correct, Long Live the Communist Party of China' and the back provides information about the setting, '9th National Congress of the Communist Party of China is an Important Milestone in History, April 1, 1969, Made with Honor by Army unit 7012'. This is the only piece of this sort we have discovered in 9 years in China and as such, believe it to be extremely rare and collectible.

The medallion is 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) in diameter.
