Chairman Mao Desk Stand

This is a very interesting piece. It is made from aluminum or another white metal and shows Chairman Mao within a large heart and the Chinese character for Loyality.

These type of metal objects were apparently made from American planes shot down over Vietnam during the war, but can only be verified by a metallurgical test...

This stand is missing the rear folding stand part but is in otherwise good condition.

The stand is 11cm x 11cm (4.5 x 4.5 inches).
