Red Guard Propaganda Team

These two Red Guards are promoting the words of Chairman Mao by putting up posters all over the neighborhood to be read by all patriotic citizens. The Red Guards enforced Chairman Mao’s views upon all and dealt harshly with so-called counter revolutionaries during the Cultural Revolution (c. 1966-1976) in China.

This ceramic statue is a great present day representation of that period. Hand painted in bright colors, even the Chairman Mao buttons are clearly visible! The statue is 25 cm (10 inches) high
