Ceramic Chairman Mao Bust

This is a very unique ceramic bust of Chairman Mao with pinkish glazing, made in the most famous ceramic area of China, Jingdezhan.

The craftsmanship of this piece is excellent with the skill of the artist clearly evident from fine details of the facial features.

The bust measures 18cm (7 inches) high and the bottom molding indicates it was made in Jingdezhan, 'with respect' in 1968.
