Rare Glass Chairman Mao Bust with Base

This particular molded glass bust of Chairman Mao from the Cultural Revolution is quite rare in that it not only has a molded base, but that the base is inscribed with, 'Long Live Chairman Mao'.

The bust is a single piece of milky colored thick glass. Chairman Mao's facial features are sharp and the level of craftsmanship is clearly evident.

This bust is in very good condition, save for a chip on the right hand corner of the base. It stands 28 cm (11 inches) high.
