Post-Cultural Revolution Defense Poster

Cultural Revolutionary imagery continued to be used long after the Cultural Revolution was over. This poster, in 4 languages, is one such poster, and has appropriate accompanying title, 'Iron Bastion - Joint Defence by the Army and the People'.

Shown is a PLA solider, rather than a Red Guard as was often used on propaganda posters during the Cultural Revolution, with a female civil defense member learning techniques of using a rifle.

The poster measures 53cm (21 inches) x 75cm (30 inches) and is in very good condition. It was printed in 1986.
