Contemporary Cultural Revolutionary Woodblock Print

This is a very nice example of what is being produced by Chinese artists some 40 years after the height of the Cultural Revolution. This is a limited edition print.

This woodblock print carries classic CR themes - peasant, militiaman, and worker. The print's wording at the bottom is 'A Vast World Where Much Can Be Accomplished'.

The print is signed and dated (2006) by the artist and is numbered - 27 of 46.

The print measures 48.5cm (19 inches) x 38cm (15 inches).
