Korean War - Chinese PLA Volunteers Patch
Red China raised an army to fight with their communist brothers in Korea; the name given to this army was "The Chinese People's Volunteer Army". They helped change the course of history in the Korean War.
All Chinese members of the Volunteer Army wore this patch or badge on their uniform. This particular badge was worn by a Mr. Yang in 1953. The back records Mr. Yang's unit, his rank and the date of issue.
This is a unique and rare piece from Red China, more than 50 years old. This comes from a dealer's private collection.
This patch is in excellent condition. The size is 8cm (3.15 inches) x 4cm (1.57 inches).
