The second of our unique Chairman Mao busts this month is a massive cream colored molded glass model. Chairman Mao is again shown in a classic pose, which because of the size, ensures that his presence is felt in whichever room he is placed.

Chairman Mao Glazed Bust
Our third and most stunning bust of Chairman Mao made from porcelain with a green glaze. This small bust is simply stunning to look at and appreciate. The glazing has spread thinner in spots to give greater definition to the features in Chairman Mao’s face and his uniform. The glazing has crazed over time, giving Chairman Mao a more dignified presence, showing that even 29 years after his death, that his image is still with us.
The coloring and type of glazed used is reminiscent of roof tiles commonly used on traditional Chinese courtyard houses.

This is a very fine item from the Cultural Revolution, complete with three drawers and detachable mirror. It is in very nice condition and has aged well, showing a nice patina after more than 30 years.
