Safety Student Award Enamel Cup, 1988

"Safety First" is an oft seen slogan, so not surprising awards such as this cup would have been given to various people.

The stark red on white enamel stands out for its starkness and must have been a prized possession for the student who received this as an award.

The cup is 10cm (4 inches) high and 11cm (4.5 inches) in diameter. It was manufactured by the XXX in 1988. As photos show, there are a number of chips, a very common occurrence with everyday enamelware items.
