Post-Cultural Revolution Tea Tin

This is a fine example how small amounts of tea were stored for use at work or on a short trip. This tin has remained in very good condition despite its age and use. The paint remains nearly completely intact with very few scratches.

One side of this tin has the picture of the famous Chinese White Pagoda in Beijing and the other side with the Beijing buses from the late 1970's and early 1980's. Both sides carry the same inscription: Famous Chinese Tea.

The tin measures 11.5cm (4.5 inches) x 7.5 cm (3 inches).
