Chinese World Atlas

This is a very nice book of world and area maps printed in China. Each map is printed on a single piece of paper and then folded, so there is no distortion, and each page is only printed on one side.

As can be seen from the scan, the cover has some water damage, although the inner pages have no evidence of damage. Since each map is printed on a single piece of paper, these would be suitable for framing. There are 40 maps in all.

The atlas was printed in early/mid 1950's in China given the use of traditional Chinese characters rather than simplified characters first introduced in 1956. Each full page map measures 28cm (11 inches) x 20.5cm (8 inches).
