The aforementioned bible during the Cultural Revolution, in the more common red vinyl cover and with the complete 33 chapters and Lin Biao inscription intact that reads, "Study Chairman Mao's writings, follow his teachings and act according to his instructions".

It is important to note that both the 1966 and 1967 English editions both state on the inside cover page that the book was published in 1966; however, the true first editions from 1966 will display printing data in Chinese at the end of the book to confirm this.

This copy is in good condition with a couple minor issues - small missing piece on red vinyl cover and some foxing on tissue cover of Mao's photo. The inner have not been marked, folded or torn. It was indeed published in 1966.
